If you are weary, discouraged, heavy-hearted, or grieving, A Night of Hope is for you.
We understand how hard the holiday season can be for weary and hurting people. In the midst of your sorrow, the festivities of the season can compound feelings of sorrow, aloneness, and isolation. Join us to be reminded you are not alone as we prepare our hearts together to persevere well through the holidays.
What to expect:
- We will gather in the chapel for a worship service where we will be encouraged through music and a Biblical message of hope. Together we will acknowledge the reality of pain and suffering, remind ourselves of the hope available to us, and worship the Giver of that hope.
- After the service, join us in the Chapel Commons for refreshments and to learn about free support and resources for a variety of specific griefs and life challenges.
You can freely attend without any pressure to talk to or interact with anyone, but we would love for you to join us for the reception afterward to connect with others going through similar life struggles.
Our prayer is that this evening will be a sweet oasis of encouragement and hope for all who attend.
Please Note: Since a number of those attending are grieving the loss of babies and children, we compassionately request on their behalf that babies and young children unable to sit quietly through the service not be brought.
We deeply appreciate your understanding.
